When the next update for Rocket League hits, PlayStation 4 owners will receive a little extra attention. Rocket League will run at 1080p 60 frames per second on all arenas in both single player and local two-player split-screen. PS4 Pro owners will see 60 frames at 4K via checkerboard rendering. Three-player and four-player split-screen is said to offer the same fidelity on “most arenas.”
The update isn’t just for PS4 players though. Everybody will have access to the new fan-voted Player’s Choice crate, Hot Wheels DLC, and various optimizations and bug fixes. The patch is scheduled for February 21.
