After speaking with Renegade Kid Co-Founder and Director, Jools Watsham, Watsham revealed that the development studio is currently working on a brand new title for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This development, however, places another project in limbo — at least for now.

The awareness of the brand new project surfaced during an inquiry with Watsham which involved the Nintendo 3DS title, Dementium II Remastered, which was initially slated to release in 2016.

“The sales for Dementium Remastered were only “OK”, so we’re still debating whether or not we’ll finish development of Dementium II Remastered for 3DS,” said Watsham. “We are currently developing a smaller-scale title with Nighthawk for XB1/PS4 retail/digital release, which we’ll have news on soon, and will circle back to the potential of D2R once development is complete.”

No further details were revealed regarding the brand new project.
