Players will be able to download Pokemon GO in July according to Nintendo during the Nintendo Treehouse live event.

Shigeru Miyamoto was at the event demonstrating the Pokemon GO plus device, which is a Bluetooth enabled accessory that will give players the chance to look for Pokemon without having to monitor their phones at all times. Nintendo hopes to have the device ready by July and will go for retail at $34.99.

The Pokemon GO plus device can also be utilized to throw pokeballs and allow the user know whether they have successfully caught a Pokemon.

Nintendo has also provided details on the initial release and what Pokemon can be expected at the beginning. Currently the only Pokemon available are from the Kanto region, but the hopes for the app is that all 700 plus Pokemon will be available.
