The latest Final Fantasy MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, has been around for roughly three years. Originally launching as an unfortunate disaster on PC, Final Fantasy XIV relaunched as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and as of this morning, possesses quite a few subscribers.

According to Square Enix, Final Fantasy XIV now has more than 6 million global subscribers.

In light of the announcement, Square Enix has also revealed that Final Fantasy XIV players with expired subscriptions may play the video game for five days, free of charge. Rather than playing Final Fantasy XIV for $14.99 a month, expired subscription users can begin their five day free trial as of midnight July 25 – August 30.

The latest update for Final Fantasy XIV, update 3.35, is now live and brings along with it a slew of new quests and so much more.

Final Fantasy XIV is currently playable on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
