Bandai Namco has officially revealed the first expansion to hit Dark Souls III.

The initial expansion for Dark Souls III is called, “Ashes of Ariandel,” which is scheduled to launch on October 25 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, and will retail for $14.99.

“With hours of new challenges, new bosses, new mysterious locations to explore, new items to obtain, and new ways to challenge other players online, it’s the perfect time to jump back into one of the best games of 2016,” said Vice President of Marketing for Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., Eric Hartness.

Here’s a brief description of the new expansion which was written within a press release sent to VG Newswire:

“Players are tasked to enter the land of Ariandel and defeat the evil within to uncover the mystery of what has caused the land to become defiled.”

“Ashes of Ariandel” will also grant users access to new weapons, armor, and magic, on top of a new feature for the title’s competitive mode.

Bandai Namco also revealed that the second expansion for Darks Souls III is scheduled to launch some time in early 2017.

For those who wish to save a little money, Dark Souls III‘s season pass, which will sell for $24.99, will include both expansions.
