EA Sports has released three new videos detailing gameplay features that will be available in FIFA 17.
The new features are Set Piece Rewrite, Attacking Techniques, and Active Intelligence System.
Set Piece Rewrite gives players more creativity in, more control of, and a larger variety of “dead ball” situations in any match. Users can change the position of their player in free kicks or penalty kicks to keep their opponents guessing. Additionally, throw-ins have given players the ability to move up and down the line and perform fake throws.
New Attacking Techniques give players more ways to create chances and score goals. One of the innovative ways is the “driven” mechanic giving users the ability to keep the ball low when taking shots, volleys, or headers. Also, players on the pitch can create driven through balls to initiate attacks and goalkeepers can throw and kick balls with the purpose to start counter attacks.
Active Intelligence System makes players on the pitch smarter, more active on the ball, and react to better defined space. This feature will give users more options to create chances and more time on the ball.
FIFA 17 will be released on September 27, 2016, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows.
