One final content drop has hit Driveclub, adding fifteen new tracks and reverse variants. The developer, Evolution Studios, signed off in the patch notes with well wishes towards the players, saying “Thanks for your commitment. Farewell and enjoy the game!”
Driveclub suffered through one of the most notorious troubled launches in recent memory. It experienced multiple delays, including at one point an indefinite delay to the PlayStation Plus version. When the game did release, the servers couldn’t stay up. Ultimately all of the problems muddied the reputation of Driveclub, despite being well-received. Evolution Studios’ closure was announced in March 2016.
