Yesterday, Activision revealed the latest installment in the Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and apparently the title is to be exclusive to current-gen consoles.
Taking to Twitter, Infinity Ward confirmed that the newest Call of Duty title will not launch via Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which makes Infinite Warfare the first Call of Duty experience to not release on both current and last-gen systems within this console generation. The most recent Call of Duty game, Black Ops III, is currently available on both current and last-gen consoles, as is its predecessor, Advanced Warfare.
