When Capcom’s Monster Hunter 4 ultimate launched in February last year, fans of the video game were treated to several Nintendo related costumes which featured collaborative properties.

According to Siliconera, that trend means to continue in the latest Monster Hunter video game for Nintendo 3DS, Monster Hunter X.

In the gameplay video, which can be found below, Mega Man armor is awarded to your feline companion by completing the special event quests “The Yellow Demon.” This particular armor set also appeared in Monster Hunter 4 ultimate, and will become available on February 25 in Japan.

Monster Hunter X is also set to collaborate with Square Enix in some fashion. Those who wish to obtain the Square Enix-themed armor set will have to complete the event quest, “Illusionary Tale: The Vanguard’s Steel of Malice.” Doing so will unlock the “Nyaight Sword” and “Nyaight” Palico armor. The Square Enix-themed armor set is scheduled to release on January 15 in Japan.
