The widely panned video game to movie adaptation Warcraft has earned itself the crown as the most successful video game movie of all-time.

Much of the money has been made overseas. Warcraft had the biggest opening for a foreign film in Chinese history, and overall China has contributed $200 million to the $377.6 million worldwide total. Just a bit over $37 million of that has been from the domestic market. The film opened to $24 million in the United States before dropping off nearly 75% for its second weekend.

The previous record holder was Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, which took home $335 million in 2010. Ubisoft will be looking to take this record back in December with Assassin’s Creed.
